2018 Rebel 500 ABS

Hi. This is my first post. Yesterday I bought my 2018 Rebel 500 brand new with 1 KM on it. We went to ride home and my ABS light continued to keep flashing and rear tire was locking up. Immediately took it back to the dealer. They tried to figure it out all afternoon with no success. Now waiting for them to figure out what is wrong as its throwing two different codes regarding the ABS....

Welcome Kerri. Keep on them about this. Check the lemon law in your area to see how much time they have to fix this. I would say to make them give you another one but it's likely already been transferred/registered in your name so that may not be possible.

Im not informed about consumer laws in any US state.
But I think- and maybe be wrong- it must be possible to reverse the contract without any problems and costs for the customer after this short time between contract and reclamations. Registered or not- problems like this are to bear from the dealer and not from the customer. Or not?
Shure, the dealer must have his chance and time to correct the faults- but there must be a limit by law.

So apparently the front ABS rotor was faulty. Luckily they had another bike there still that they stole the parts from and will replace those when my warranty parts arrive. They delivered the bike to me this morning so that I didn't have to drive the hour and a half to get there that I had already made Saturday.

Yes the dealership is amazing! We've been dealing with them for a few years and they always go above and beyond!
