Rear Brake Pad Rubbing on Rotor

I have been reading on here a bit for information, and now have a question to post!
The 2017 Rebel 300 is my first bike and currently has about 600 miles on it.

I recently got a rear lift and noticed that the rear break pad rubs against the rotor for about 1/4 - 1/2 of each tire rotation. Its a light rub and makes a sound kind of like running the back of your fingernail against fabric or something.

Has anyone else noticed / had an issue like this? Is there an easy fix or is it something I should take to a dealer?

Itís about time for your first service anyway so take it to the dealer. Could be a warped rotor, debris stuck in the pad or could be normal
