Need clarification on signal wires

I'll keep this super short,

I bought 3 lights to replace all the turn signals on my rebel

https://www.steadygarage.com/store/m...-rebel-300-500
https://www.steadygarage.com/store/t...icense-bracket
https://www.steadygarage.com/store/m...-rebel-300-500

I've heard of these wire connectors seen here and here
https://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/E...onnectors.html
https://www.customled.com/collection...les/make-honda

Question:
If I need the connectors for these lights, how many of them should I order? If no, why not? I currently understand if I don't then there is some cutting of a wire and wire harness which sounds like things i'd rather not do to my bike.

Cheers for the help mates

You only need the male connectors, and you'll need 6 of them.
But either way you wanna do this, you'll have to resort to extend the wires from the lights you're getting, as they won't be long enough to reach the female connector underneath the seat.
It's only at the rear you'll have to do this, as the female connector at the front is located in the headlight housing.

thanks! 6 of which connector specifically? I see several on that page. Or in the other link it is in 2 and 3 wire pairs.

For the front you'll need:
Seeing as you won't be running with DLR then you'll just need 2 of these: 2 Position HC050 Connector (from here https://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/E...onnectors.html)

For the rear:
Since you'll have to extend the wires anyway, the easy way for you to do this is to get 3 of these: https://www.customled.com/products/h...nectors-2-wire
And 3 more of these: 2 Position HC050 Connector

Ignore what I said about 6 connectors before, you only need 5.
