EJK for CB300 or rebel.

I have been looking at the cb300 forums and lots of people have good things to say about the EJK kit. EFI Controllers - Electronic Jet Kit - Motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, Sportbikes, Snowmobiles, Watercraft, Dirt Bikes The cb300 and the Rebel 300 use the exact same injector according to the honda parts catalog. This would hopefully mean that the connectors and commanded injector on time would be very similar if not identical between the two bikes. Just seeing if anybody has though of it, or had any opinions.

What kind of performance increase do you see from this?

Rutz,

That thing is way above my pay grade I wouldn't have a clue what to do with it.

I am interested in the results that you obtain with the EFI Controller.

I honestly have no idea what kind of performance increases you can expect. I think its mainly for optimizing fuel ratios once you have and exhaust, filter or any mods that increase the amount of air the motor is pulling in. But I heard many also say that it reduced vibrations and overall harshness of the motor, even in stock form. I haven't looked into the power commander so I cant say how similar they are. I also agree that the instructions seem a bit overwhelming at first, but it looks like HMF, Weiseco and some other reputable companies offer this same device with their name printed on it, so it must be a decent setup. I emailed the company and asked if they had any plans to release a rebel version and have not heard back in a few days.

They probably laughed and thought you were joking. lol. Looking for power, why would you try and get it from a 300cc? lol.

Seeing how the offer one for the CB 300 I don't this its too outlandish. Also some of us enjoy making something out of nothing, or very little if ya know what I mean. I'm not looking for some balls out tire burning performance. I just find satisfaction in utilizing or "unlocking" any engines full potential, even if results are less than desirable. But believe me I have already mentally prepared myself to hear "should of bought a 500" about 20 times a day.

haha. I hear yea. Except I get should of got a different bigger bike everyday. lol. As much as I would of liked that, I'm a new rider. And as torn as I am that yea, should of gotten something bigger for highway's etc, I love this bike regardless. lol.

And I know what you mean about small engine, and getting everything you can out of it. My last 3 cars was like that. Had a 09 Civic SI dyno tuned to 225whp. Had every mod you can think of minus boost. Loved that car, but couldn't get someone to pass the inspection when I moved to a different province. lol.

My last car was the 2014 Mitsubishi EVO. Had that tuned and modded too. 2 yrs, then the transfer case started going and I was loosing the AWD system. Dealer wanted 6k to repair it. Said no thanks. Traded it and got a truck. lol. A year in a half and no more fun, the bike was the answer. lol.

Haha I understand anything I have ever owned I've always enjoyed tinkering with it. This bike is nice enough I'm gonna keep it to a minimum but I would at least like a better exhaust and maybe some sort of tuning. By tomorrow I hope to have the bigger front sprocket on!
