500 autonomy

Hi,

My fuel gauge is blinking. I drove 140 miles since the last filling, for information.

How much petrol is left, in your opinion?

Thanks

To estimate about 2/3 a gallon left and about 40 miles left.

Doesn't the bike come with an owner's manual? <-- referring to fred0666's original question.....

No, I don't have the owner manual.
Only the service book.

Actually (I just checked), it is a generic booklet, explaining warranty and service mileage not even for the CMX.
The dealer has filled the next mileage and the reference of the model.

Good to know! I want to take my bike across town and would like to know I far I could go before I needed to fill up.

The bike should get around 180 miles per tank. But that would be running it dry. And normally the gauges are just an estimated amount left and do not decrease in a linear way.
