New Corbin Seat

Finally got my motorcycle with the 1st ever Corbin seat for the new Rebel installed on it. I gave Corbin my Rebel on loan for a month for R&D and they came up with a beautiful Gunfighter seat.

I saw you posted this on Facebook as well. It looks very comfortable.
To me it looks huge on the bike.
It looks like the shape is to actually give the seat a backrest.
Is this how you asked for it? Or was it just the design they came up with?
Last question, the seat is clearly higher than stock, are you still able to get both feet on the ground without issue?

I was really hoping they released one with as a one piece with passenger seat. But since it doesn't look like they will be doing that soon I think I will be ordering one from over seas for now.

Been waiting for this to pop up.
And I gotta say, I did not expect it coming out looking like that, at all! Not meant in a bad way, but not entierely in a good way either..? I'm not quite sure, can't really deside.
It looks comfy as heck thou, but a little odd at the same time.

But how have they secured it? Is it only the one bolt on the fender that's holding it in place?! If so, ain't it kinda lose?

I would like to see how the seat is attached, if it is just 1 bolt I am skeptical.

I ordered a seat from that bunch in Israel and I couldn't get them to send me a picture of the underside of the seat. I am concerned if the little plastic tab in the front, and one bolt in the back end, is the only thing holding it to the bike what is it going to be like when leaning into a corner....

I bought a pig in a poke, maybe.

Yeah, not sure how I feel but it looks nice. Just wondering about comfort, how is it on a long run?

It looks comfy, but I'm not sure I like the style of it.

I think it'd look better if the back of the seat were lower, and the back piece replaced the rear fender.

As it is, it kindof looks like a shorty rear fender sitting on top of the stock fender.

I know you keep asking about how the seat is attached. I still can't tell you 100% but I am pretty sure it is probably just the 1 screw.
But it really isn't just 1 screw, because the front of the seat slides into the bike so having just one bolt in the rear should not cause any issues.
I guess if they wanted to they could make it so it pushes into where the old seats screws holes with pressure kind of like the side panels are attached.
But still I don't see the 1 screw being much of a problem.

If you get yours and it causes issues let me know. Because I am looking into ordering one as well in a week or two and I don't want to have an issue.

That thing is enormous! I bet it's comfy though, and there re definitely trade offs. It does have a stock fit to it though, looks like the bike was built that way.

Thanks guys!

I am taking it on a 200 miles road trip tomorrow and will be able to report on comfort. I already did 1.5 hours on it from Hollister back to Menlo Park, CA and it was fantastic. No numb behind :-) The seat is very wide, and supports lower back which is needed for long distance riding. Corbin came out with the design - I had nothing to do with it.

The back part of the seat is actually padded (It's carbon vinyl on top of padding) and may work as a passenger seat for short distances, but again - need to try.

The Seat goes into the slider part where the stock seat used to go and is bolted with the one bolt at the rear. It is very sturdy and doesn't budge so pretty secure.

I'll report more when I'm back from ny trip.
