Fork Gaiters and Vinyl Wraps

Finished these today. Got a few bubbles under the wraps. They might not bother me, we'll see. If they do, I'll peel them off and try again. New seat and handlebars coming next week!

if there is an air bubble just poke it with a needle and hold a lighter to it for 2 or 3 seconds

Just for your info re gaiters...
The 2016 onwards Triumph T120 also has 41mm Showa forks and has exactly the same extended distance between the underside of the bottom fork yoke/triple tree clamp and the top of the fork leg so happen to be a perfect (if expensive) fit.

I am surprised because i measured the height available and it is 160mm.
I have measured it on 2 500 rebel (2018 and 2019).
And the T120 has 120mm.

I have adaptable forks belows and it is short.
I have always problems with this.

(sorry for english, i am french )

you're English is superior to my French which I learnt over 45years ago at school and promptly forgot most of it

Here's my T120 on the side stand so its springs are compressed by the weight of the bike. I sadly need a third hand to take a photo with the forks uncompressed. But as can be seen in the photo there's around 130mm showing and there is 30mm that is not showing. Perhaps the T120 you checked was not standard which gave an inaccurate measure.

Thanks for reply

I haven't checked a T120, it is just the data from Triumph website.

We speak about new T120 or old ?

I put on a set of gaiters this morning, an E bay set for a new model Triumph Bonneville.

Only a fool would attempt it, and God help me, I am that fool.
