Raising rear shocks

I measured the rear shocks and they are less than 12 inches - about 11.5.
My thought was to go to 12.5 or 13 inches.
Would that severely effect the handling characteristics?
My guess is that 12.5 would be fine.
Now if I could figure how to get another inch or so in the front forks....

In theory, it would sharpen the steering. Unless you raised the front too (not sure if that can be done on the Rebel without going out into the cold weather to find out!).

Just do it! (I did: 2017 Rebel 500; 2014 MT-07)

Are you looking for more suspension travel or adjusting ride height? Ride height - lift the seat, they're ya go.
