What's my preload set to?

Hey guys can anyone tell me what my rear suspension is currently set at? Bought a 2017 500from the dealer... I asked if manual was under the seat they said yes... they lied.
Stopped In today and asked if they can adjust the preload to a stiffer setting and they told me "it's not adjustable " another lie.
If anyone could tell me if these are set at 2 or 4 that would be wonderful!

They didn't actually like. Preload doesn't change the ride stiffness. It is to set what your weight is so the bike sag is correctly set before you ride. Adjusting this does not change the stiffness feel of the suspension.

Also FYI. Your pre-load in the pic is set to the standard factory setting.

you had the same experience I had. Didn't get any tools and manual. Had to fight for the manual but, did not get the tools.

Preload is set at 2 from the factory. If you're heavier than average, you'll want to increase that.

I'm a bit over 200lbs and increased mine to 3 to keep from bottoming out the shocks on larger bumps... much better ride!

I was thinking it was at 2. I asked them to adjust the preload for me and they said it does not adjust. I told them my teeth were chattering on bumps and it felt like I was bottoming out perhaps they could stiffen it up. They also sent me off with an empty tank and low front tire pressure.
Thank you so much for clearing this up, now I can adjust it and enjoy the bike!

Garage
sounds like you have some people working there that don't care about you at all.
but as answered it's set at 2, however within a few weeks, i've changed mine to 3 and am happy with it there.
