Wheel rim cover disks (or whatever you may call them)

What do you guys think of these things made for the Rebel.
Their not yet out on the market, but soon will be.
Paintable to any colour or mutiple colours, a bit of fun maybe.

IMHO I think they are hideous, itís a no no for me!

Anyone like em?

They use disc wheels in triathalons and the main problem is they don't do well in cross winds. IMHO you're correct - they are hideous.

That right there. One of my brother's older bikes had "closed" wheels, and he said crosswinds were a b!tch to ride in...

Terrible. I personally donít like it because weight is being added to the bike for pretty much no reason, and I think the spokes on the wheels are at least decent looking. I also thought it was a nice touch how honda matched the spoke pattern for the rotors.

But hey, to each their own. Same reason some people bought the red, silver, black, yellow bikes.

You could always use them as trash can lids if you find you don't want them on the bike anymore.
