I've been using a product ACF50 for a number of years.
originally this stuff was developed for the undercarriage of aeroplanes!
Now this product has come down in price becoming a household name for bikers.
Any Road up, I covered my 500 rebel in the stuff back in January. Wiped over everything except the break disks and pads with a cloth is the best most efficient way! Yes I do mean almost everything, tank, engine cases, cables, linkages, electrics, chain. Etc.
Now except for snow and ice conditions I have ridden the rebel 30 miles to work most days!
Except for cold water wash to remove salt and grit from the breaks the bike was not cleaned properly. until last weekend!
This was done with muck off then a hot soapy wash with a good old fashioned Buckett and sponge. Then a quick wrince with cold water and the bike looks as good as new! Well almost except the paint on the exhaust black in a couple of places on the welds, no big deal a little exhaust black paint sorts that in seconds!
So there you have it don't fear the British winter, ride like you stole it and enjoy your Rebel!
