An Old joins the New

Saw this while browsing. I quite like it, especially for two up riding.

What's the verdict?

I reckon it would be more comfortable than the pillion seat that comes standard but I prefer my retro styling to look a little plder than that.

I like the seat..........looks like more padding and this old rear needs all the padding it can get!

Me too (obviously). I pushed the brake and clutch in as far as they would go on the bars and then cut about an inch and a half off the ends.

It was a beast of a city bike, accelerated like stink, went through gaps like threading a needle and on the freeway it handled like a little 175.

Second best bike I ever rode.

I sold mine when I bought a brand new piece-of-crap Harley - 2 bad decisions at once.

Still got the rear brick & mega bazooka on the side, otherwise not too bad.

Check out the square headlight ! Classic 1980's styling.

Classic thumper - they also made a VT500. I also had an XL500 thumper - wish I still had both bikes.
