Anyone purchase a 500 in Austin, Texas area?

I'm interested in buying a 2018 Honda Rebel 500 with abs, I went to my local dealership today and they offered me $9,758 for one. I really find this price to be pretty high, so I'm wondering if anyone had better luck at other dealerships? Also can purchase in Houston, Texas.

Honestly I thought the same, I wanted to laugh when he printed out the sheet and handed it to me. Never going back to that location again.

Agreed, that dude is out of his mind! Holy smokes that's a high price. Did you try to haggle or no?

I did a quick search and saw Woods Fun Center in Austin has the Rebel 500 Non ABS listed on their website at $6,099. ABS version should be 300-400 more? Even after dealer fees and taxes etc that would put you in the ballpark of $8,000 without haggling the price down.

There's no difference between to 2017 and 2018, there's still plenty of 2017's to be had for less.

I paid just under 6800 out the door for my Rebel 500 ABS. I am located in PA.

Go to Cycle Center in Denton and ask for Joe Rosenthall, probably less than 61/2 thousand.

Tell him Kenny G sent you.

That price is way out of range. Even if it includes tax, dealer, fees and licensing. You should be looking at something closer to 7,000 out the door. Just pull up the Honda website ( https://powersports.honda.com/2018/rebel-500.aspx)
6,399 is what is advertised, ask for the 4th Holiday special price! Call @KennyG's man and just see what he says. Good luck and welcome!
