Talking New York City | Beginner Rider | Rebel 300

Hi everybody! I'm super excited to be a part of this forum. I have been reading a lot of your posts and comments before I bought my bike.

I'm a new rider from New York City. I'm riding a 2017 Honda rebel 300 Non-ABS in pearl white. I have only ridden at the MSF course and thought this bike would be a perfect one to learn to ride with. Not only that but this SO BEAUTIFUL!

I think I got it at a great price about 200 bucks below MSRP from the dealership with 0 miles. (technically 1 mile, with their test ride)

I am considering making a youtube channel for motorcyclists in teh city specifically new york city. Somehitng allots like Moto Noir's youtube channel. That all for now. Till next time!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. Personally, I'd be a little paranoid about NYC traffic if all I had was the MFS course. (but that's just me) good luck to you. For city traffic, I think the 300 is a great bike. No need for the larger engine. It's light and maneuverable...which is what you'll need. Are you in Manhattan?

Thanks! Yup, I'm right in the heart of it! it's insane traffic. there's really nowhere to go to ride fast, except at night and out of the city. I ride my bicycle pretty aggressively and skateboard all over Manhattan so I'm extremely used to city traffic. but I'm definitely missing out on what makes motorcycled fun.
