New lights/fender

Christmas came early last weekend. With some help from a friend and two days work we pulled of this transformation. I think it looks great and it works just as good. Everything wired up perfectly, and was a simple task if you have some electrical experience.

It is the stock fender. I cut it back and added a radius using the end of the fender as a template.

Sure I'll do my best. Unfortunately I didn't take an pictures of the process.

1. Remove fender assembly
2. Remove brake light and blinker assembly from the fender and completely disassemble the fender.
3. Cut the fender about 3in from the radius edge, and trace new edge where I thought looked good using the cut piece. This video is a good example of what I am referring too(https://youtu.be/3pAcFHt3OFc). I used a grinder and a file to finish the edges and remove any burrs.
4. Reinstall the fender frames on each side and mock up the shortened fender. Trace a line on the frame and cut using a hack saw. Finish with a file to remove burrs and refine the shape.
5. If you plan to paint, remove frame and fender, and clean them of dirt and debris. Proceed to paint. I used a can of Honda black, found at an auto part store. Then clear coat.
6. Install blinkers into the existing holes in the fender mount frame, and wire them into the system. I routed the wiresame through the fender, exactly how the stock wires are routed.
7. Install rear fender using the little plastic push fasteners, or small bolts. And double sided foam tape along the fender frames.
8. Wire up the LED brake light, center it, and stick it to the frame.

That's pretty much it. I'd be happy to help guide or answer any questions others have.

Well that's the fender bit, and the rest..? I kinda had in mind the whole bike.
Like the handlebars, have you just flipped those?
The indicators, what kinds are those? Link? And those at the front, did you re-use the original rubber mount that the stock indicators used?

Ah yes sorry.
The bars are the stock bars flipped
The blinkers I picked up on amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZXRYKLT..._7sgrAbAB3DQ83
The front blinker mounts are actually mounts for a light bar but worked perfectly. These were also from amazon.

LED tail light I picked up from here. https://www.lakemoto.com/collections...-led-taillight

I bought the exhaust for around $30 on ebay, along with the mirrors which were about $15. Brake levers came from ebay as well for $20.

Nice ^^,
It looks dope, for sure!
I've actually looked at the same indicators before. How do you like them?

For the price they feel well built. My only issue is the color of the light. It's more of a yellow, I'd rather have them a little more on the amber side. But that's just personal.

Those LED strips are not the brightest in daylight.
Iím going to either add a second or use different bolt on type to boost the running/stop illumination.
