LED Lighting Kit

So my cousin from Montana was in town for a couple days, and since this is my first bike, he hooked me up with a "welcome to the club" gift!

I like it. I wonder if these are legal in Michigan? I have seen some LED lighting on forks in my area but not under the frame. Kind of corny but in the interest of safety it makes sense. Something like this?

Last time I checked, as long as it's not red any color is legal on a bike (not the same rules as cars).

Same here in Norway. However, we are allowed to use such "neon" light's on bikes, cars, etc, if they are parked!
