Flipping Mirrors Under The Handlebars?

Has anyone figured out a way to flip the mirrors so they're under the handlebars? I'm not a big fan of bar end mirrors or how they sit on the bike now. It looks as if it would be pretty tricky to pull this off, but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks!

Do you know the size of the handlebars? I'm sure I could find a universal one if I looked hard enough.

Does anyone know the thread size for the mirrors? 10mm seems to be most common on Honda bikes.
