Bar end mirrors - Done!

Finally got around to get the tools needed, so that's mirrors checked of the "to do" list!
And oh my god, it looks sooo good <3
So much more cleaner look with everything on the same height on the bar ^^,

Looks good! Did you take pictures of the process? I hear the handlebar ends have plugs...

Now that is what it should look like. I love it! So much cleaner and out of the way. Just looks ideal and natural. Link to where you got it?

I sure did!

Yes, there is a 2 cm long plug at the ends of the handlebar. They are a hard aluminium plug that's perhaps only glued in there? Can't really tell in the pictures, but on the throttle side where I got the grip off, I could see past the plug on one of the sides, and couldn't find any evidence that they are welded in place. But I could be wrong thou.

I just made good of the plugs, and drilled a whole into it, and insertet new threads into them, in case the aluminium would weaken with time and start to slip. Don't wanna do the job two times.
Was rather easy when I got the tools and parts needed to get the job done.

Their pretty cool mate, well done for perservering with those bar ends.

Actually the stock mirrors are not the ugliest I've seen, I kind of like them but bar end mirrors look great, I'm doing my mirrors this week & new clutch & brake levers.

I like it. Mine should be done this week, but I am replacing the handle bars as well so I won't have to drill out the bars.

I do have one question. How is the visibility in them? I feel the way I want to do it I am will lose some visibility and I really don't want to not be able to see well behind me.
