Should the ABS light be on when riding?

Hope riding is going well for everyone. Just a quick question. Should the ABS light stay on when riding? I for the life of me can't remember as mine doesn't. I'm of the belief that the light was on before for me and now it has switched off, but maybe I've made myself convinced of that on account of my paranoia. Hoping people could help me here.

Thanks all, and safe riding.

Garage
It comes on when ignition is switched on and stays lit when moving until about 10kph, then it goes out.

Any variation to this is time to check your manual and/or your service centre.

I think this is what's happening with mine as well. I'll keep an eye out during my next ride. Thank you kindly. If others want to add they're still welcome to share.
