Sorry to go

Hey everyone. Dude to some circumstances, and an opportunity I couldn't pass up, I have sold my rebel 300. Going to a good cause, my driving instructor for the bike course bought it for $4500 CAD with 4500kms on it.

I found another bike though. And yup, joined the Harley vibe. Got a smoking deal on a 2011 Harley Dyna Fat Bob with stage 1 upgrade kit with accessories for $8k CAD. And only 7200kms on it. I wanted a bike for long trips, and I couldn't bare the discomfort of the rebel 300.

I love and will miss my 300. Fantastic bike, served me a purpose, but sadly I had to make a call. It has been great being involved a bit with the forum but I will still follow it from time to time to see what awesome stuff you guys do with your rebel's.

I would look weird at you if you had the 500, but since it's the 300 I kinda get it The 300 will be the typical bike most people will be changing out sooner or later, so no shock there really :P
Do enjoy your new bike! Congrats!

Oh buddy. 300cc to 1600cc , 96 cube motor, with the stage 1 she's equal to the 103 cube. And man what a Ride. This thing goes like a bat out of ****. lol. Fantastic! Little getting used to, the weight is like the rebel 300 times 3. lol. But loving every second of it. No regrets yet. lol. Maybe when I see my mpg on the next full tank i'll be a bit bummed, but then i'll start her up and hear the rumble and tell myself it was totally worth it. And $8k for a Harley, how could anyone turn that down, especially with only 7200kms on it. And this was from dealer! Paid an extra $1500 for the extended warranty though.

If anyone has a Harley, you'll know what I mean. HD don't stand for Harley Davidson, its stands for Hunreds of Dollars!!! lol. Warranty is a must. lol.

A little sceptical for you thou, going from a 300 to a 1600?
I am asuming you're new to riding, since you got the 300 and all, so just be safe out there.
Ride within your limit, and don't push yourself or the bike to it's limit.
I often find myself having to take myself by the neck on the 500 here, lol! Way to easy to go way too fast!

But it seems you've made a heck of a good deal thou ^^, You've got yourself a bike for many years forward!

I bought a new Harley Dyna Glide in 2001 1540cc, upgrade from the Honda FT500 I had been riding for 10 years. I had fun on the HD but wish I had also kept that FT500. If they ever make a bike that is good in all situations, I want that but until then I will continue to need multiple bikes in my garage.

Congratulations on your upgrade.
The additional torque and horsepower is simply "intoxicating"!
Enjoy and keep in touch.

Happy Harleying mate, if there is such a word.
Good luck with the new bike, I'm sure there's many envious riders, me for one
